For US DTC brands running Meta ads

Turn your product photos into finished video ads, shot by shot Turn the product photos you already run into video ads. Stop booking a creator for every test. Agency-style video ads. No retainer.

One brief becomes a voiced 9:16 ad, built shot by shot from your product photos. Pick the best take of every shot. See each price before it runs.

Your statics already prove the photos work. HeroTake builds every shot of a voiced 9:16 ad from them, with your AI spokesperson (the face of your ads), several takes per shot, and the price of each take shown first.

Test new video concepts with an AI spokesperson made for your brand, then book creators for the winners. Every frame is built from your product photos, every shot gets several takes, and every take is priced before it runs.

The structure an agency sells you (a script, a shot list, several takes of every shot), with you in the director's chair and every take priced before it runs.

A few questions about your account. About a minute.

Made for

  • Shopify & DTC stores
  • Advantage+ sales campaigns
  • Reels & Stories, 9:16
  • $10k–$100k a month on Meta
How you make an ad in HeroTake, shot by shot
The example ad, from your product photos to a voiced 9:16 file. Credit values are examples. Animated illustration. Drawn, not generated: not an AI output.
Text version
  1. An illustration of an ad made in HeroTake: Call sheet · Ad 01, polarized aviator sunglasses: launch, 15 s, made in 9:16.
  2. 01 · You bring your product photo and Dani's reference image, under three labels. Photos: 6 product photos. Cast: Dani, your AI spokesperson. Brief: product, audience, claim, offer.
  3. 02 · You direct, shot by shot: 5 shots, each with its camera move (dolly in, handheld, handheld, orbit, static) and a starting frame built from your photos.
  4. Shot 03 opens into its takes, side by side: take 1, take 2, take 3. Priced before each run: each take's Generate button shows its price, 10 cr, before you press it. Take 1 gets the lenses wrong, so you pick take 2: your pick. The other shots get their takes too, and every shot ends on its hero take.
  5. Script · 5 shots · 12 takes · 5 hero takes, the best take of each shot, then the voiceover. This ad so far: 148 credits.
  6. 03 · You get: ad-01.mp4 · 15 s · 9:16 · voiced. You press Download.

The treadmill

Your winners die in a week. The machine wants more.

  • Winners burn out fast.

The ad that carried last month is tired by next week. So you brief again, every week, just to stand still.

  • Every video is a production.

Brief a creator, ship the product, wait ten days, and get a take that missed the brief. Or pay a retainer and wait a month for the change.

  • AI tools bill you for the misses.

One clip looks wrong, so the whole video gets re-rendered. The credits are gone, and you still don't know what a finished ad costs.

  • A static takes an hour. A video takes a day of editing, or a week of waiting on a creator.

  • Your Meta rep keeps saying “add some video.”

Reels is where the inventory is.

  • The last polished video didn't convert anyway.

Feed-native beats glossy, and you can choose a handheld camera move for any shot.

  • Brief, ship, wait, revise.

One test concept can eat two weeks.

  • $150–$500 for each edited variant,

    before usage rights. Sources

  • A take that misses the brief means another round.

  • Retainers run $8k–$35k a month.

    Sources

  • A change request can take weeks.

  • You swapped creator management for agency management.

A week of making one video ad, and the way out
Illustrative: one video ad made with a creator, then the way out. Creator timelines vary from 3 days to 3 weeks after the product arrives. Animated illustration. Drawn, not generated: not an AI output.
Text version
  1. Your creative calendar, one week. Mon: six statics out of Canva. Done before lunch.
  2. Tue: brief a creator, with a photo of the product and one of the boardwalk you want. Wed: ship the product. Thu → next week: wait.
  3. Day 10-ish: the take misses the brief. It was shot on a city street, not the boardwalk. Round two.
  4. Meanwhile: last month's winner keeps running, and loses a little more of its color each day: fading.
  5. Or direct it yourself: from the product photos you already run. No shipping. No creator to wait on. Several takes of every shot, each priced first. Beside it, your product photo, attached to each of the ad's five frames, and three takes of one shot, with the one you pick starred as the hero take.

Somewhere along the way, making ads became the job.

The numbers behind the feeling

It's not just your account.

Statics win your calendar because they're fast. Video is the part you can't make fast enough.

Is it for you?

Built for one kind of brand. Check if it's yours.

Made for you if…

  • You sell a physical product from your own store, in the US.
  • You spend roughly $10k–$100k a month on Meta, mostly in Advantage+ sales campaigns. Up to $400k is welcome too.
  • Your account is mostly statics, and video is the part you can't make fast enough.
  • You already have clean product photos from a few angles.
  • You've booked creators, paid an agency or tried an AI avatar tool, and you know what went wrong.
  • Creative sits with a founder or a team of one to three.

Not for you yet if…

  • Your creative already keeps up: winners last, and your creators or agency deliver on time. Keep doing what works.
  • You need real customers on camera, sharing their own results. Book creators for that proof, and use HeroTake for concepts.
  • You make AI ads to sell as a side hustle. HeroTake is for brands advertising their own products.
  • You need your claims checked for you, as in supplements or skincare. You stay responsible for your claims.
  • You sell a service, an app or a digital product. Every shot starts from a product photo.
  • You spend under about $200 a day on Meta. Fewer, better ads will serve you well for now.
  • You want an AI “customer” giving a testimonial. We won't help with that, now or later.

You don't need more ads. You need more distinct concepts, with your real product in them.

Meta's guidance to advertisers is to “diversify your creative, test, and let the system optimize.”1 And agencies report that the same visual with new text counts as the same creative.1

1. Meta spokesperson and agency sources, Marketing Brew, September 28, 2026.

Three concepts from one product
New text on the same visual is still one concept. A new spokesperson, setting and opening shot make a new one, with your product photos in each. Animated illustration. Drawn, not generated: not an AI output.
Text version
  1. Your next three ads: Ad 01, Ad 02, Ad 03.
  2. First, the same visual with new text on each: Cuts the glare, Free case, Polarized. Same visual, new text: one concept.
  3. Then each ad gets a new cast, setting and opening shot. Ad 01: cast, Dani; setting, boardwalk; opening shot, lenses in the sun. Ad 02: cast, Sam, a second AI spokesperson; setting, city street; opening shot, walk into the glare. Ad 03: cast, product only; setting, studio; opening shot, case and offer. Three concepts.
  4. Your product photos in all three.

How it works

Direct your ad like a shoot.

Cast it, plan it, shoot it
The example ad in three steps. HeroTake drafts and generates; you edit, approve and pick. Animated illustration. Drawn, not generated: not an AI output.
Text version
  1. How it works · Ad 01, in three steps. The cursor marked You does your part; HeroTake drafts the rest.
  2. 01 · Cast it: you bring in your product photo and your AI spokesperson, Dani, as two prints on a shelf, labeled Product and Spokesperson. Saved once. Use them in any ad.
  3. 02 · Plan it: the script drafted from your brief: “Driving into the sun?” “These lenses cut the glare.” “A free case with every pair.” You change one word, so the line reads “Polarized lenses cut the glare.”, and press Finalize. Then HeroTake drafts the shot list, every shot with its prompt drafted.
  4. 03 · Shoot it: frames from your photos, then several takes of each shot. You pick the hero take of each shot. The hero takes close up in order, the voiceover lines up under them, and you download ad-01.mp4 · 9:16.
  5. HeroTake drafts. You decide.
  1. 01

    Cast it.

Add your product photos and cast your AI spokesperson, the face of your ads. Save them once and use them in any ad.

  2. 02

    Plan it.

Write a brief. HeroTake drafts the script, then the scenes and the shot list, with a prompt for every shot. Change anything, then approve.

  3. 03

    Shoot it.

Generate a starting frame for each shot, then several takes. Pick the hero take of each shot, add the voiceover, trim the cut and download a 9:16 MP4 for Meta.

Definition

The models

Your ads, shot on top AI video models.

An ad only looks as good as the model behind it. HeroTake puts leading video models in one studio, so every shot can go to the model that renders it best.

  • Seedance 2.5

    ByteDance

  • MiniMax H3

    MiniMax

  • Kling v4

    Kuaishou

  • Gemini Omni

    Google

  • Pick the model, shot by shot.

A shot not landing? Try it on another model and keep the take that looks best.

  • Your product, whichever model.

Your product photos are attached to every starting frame, on every model.

  • New models as they land.

The list changes as better models come out, so your ads keep up with them.

What you'll be able to check

See every frame before you pay for video.

Every frame starts from your product photos.

Each shot's starting frame is generated with your product photos and your spokesperson's references attached. You check the frame before you pay for any video. Change a frame whenever you like: takes made from the old one are flagged, and nothing is deleted.

The honest part: the hardest cases are small printed text and hands holding the product. Add more angles of your product, or redo the shot until a take gets it right.

Every frame starts from your product photos
Each shot's starting frame, built with your photos attached and checked before any video is made. Credit values are examples. Animated illustration. Drawn, not generated: not an AI output.
Text version
  1. Frames · Ad 01. Your references, attached to every frame: Product (two photos, one of them the case with its printed label), Cast and Location.
  2. Each shot's starting frame is priced before it runs (Frame, 4 cr), then generated with your references attached, one by one. You check each frame and tick it: Looks right.
  3. Shot 05's frame gets the case's printed label wrong, ringed on the frame and on the case photo: Label: off. You press Change the frame. The old frame is set aside, stamped Old frame kept, and a new frame, priced again at 4 cr, looks right.
  4. With all five frames checked: Now make the takes, 10 cr a take. Frame first. Video after.
Redo one shot, not the whole ad
Shot 03 misses, so it's retaken alone: three takes side by side, and the hero take picked. The other shots stay as approved. Credit values are examples. Animated illustration. Drawn, not generated: not an AI output.
Text version
  1. Ad 01 · 5 shots, in a row. Shot 03 misses: lens shape off.
  2. Re-roll the whole video? It's crossed out.
  3. Instead: retake shot 03. The other four shots are locked, as approved.
  4. Three takes of shot 03, side by side, each priced first: 10 cr. Take 1: lens shape off. Take 3: too tight. Take 2 becomes the hero take.
  5. The hero take goes back into the row. Redo one shot. Keep the rest.

Takes, not re-rolls.

Every shot gets several takes, side by side. You pick the hero take. If shot 3 misses, redo shot 3. Every other shot stays exactly as you approved it.

  • Compare takes side by side and pick the hero take.
  • Redo one shot, not the whole ad. Each retake is priced before it runs.
  • Try a stubborn shot on a different AI model. Which models?
  • Only hero takes make the cut.

Priced before it runs.

Before you press Generate, HeroTake shows what it will cost in credits. As you work, you see what the ad has cost so far, and every credit traces back to the frame or take that spent it.

We'll publish dollar prices, and what a typical finished ad costs with its full ledger, at launch.

  • Out of credits? New work stops before any model is called, and anything already running finishes.
  • Your work is never deleted for non-payment.
Every take priced before it runs

Text version
  1. Ad 01 · Running cost. Shot 04 · new take, beside shot 04's frame. Before it runs, the estimate: Estimate: 10 credits, beside the Generate button.
  2. Ad 01 so far: 138 credits. Example values. Frames · 5 shots × 4 cr: 20. Takes · 11 × 10 cr: 110. Voiceover · 2 lines × 4 cr: 8.
  3. Generate is pressed, and the take runs from shot 04's frame. It joins shot 04's takes, and its 10 cr moves into the ledger: Takes · 12 × 10 cr: 120. The total becomes 148 credits.
  4. Dotted lines tie each line of the ledger to what spent it: the five frames, the twelve takes, the two voiceover lines. Every credit traces back to what spent it.

Your starting point

Where are you starting from?

Statics take an hour. Video takes a day of editing, or a week of waiting on a creator. That's why your account is mostly statics.

Start from the product photos you already run. They already prove what sells.

  1. 01Add the product photos behind your best statics, and cast your AI spokesperson, the face of your ads.
  2. 02Write the brief: the product, the audience, the claim, the offer.
  3. 03Shoot it shot by shot, pick the hero takes, and download a voiced 9:16 ad.

What you get: video concepts beside your statics, from the same photos.

Your photos are already doing the hard part. Put them to work in video.

Your best static, as a video ad
A static that already works, turned into a voiced video ad from the same photos. Animated illustration. Drawn, not generated: not an AI output.
Text version
  1. On the left, your best static: a product photo, the headline “Polarized. Obviously.” and the offer, free case with every pair.
  2. Its photo, its headline and its offer move into 5 shots, and play on the right as a video ad. Same angle. Same product photos.
  3. Now a voiced video ad.

You don't need a creator for every test. You need one for proof.

Test the concept with HeroTake. Book creators for the winners.

  1. 01

Cast your AI spokesperson once, the face of your ads, and use them in any ad. No shipping.

  2. 02

Shoot the concept: several takes of every shot, built from your product photos. You pick.

  3. 03

Run it. When an angle wins, brief a creator for the real-person proof: testimonials and reviews.

What you get: a creator budget spent only on proven angles. Every take is priced before it runs.

Creators for proof. HeroTake for concepts.

You wanted output, not another vendor to manage.

Keep the production structure an agency sells you, and sit in the director's chair yourself.

  1. 01

The AI drafts the script from your brief. You edit it and press Finalize.

  2. 02

It proposes the scenes and the shot list. Add, remove, reorder or rewrite any of it.

  3. 03

You pick the hero take of every shot, and see each take's price before it runs.

What you get: a calendar you control and a cost you see per take. Invite teammates with roles.

Keep the structure. Drop the retainer.

Done for you

No time to direct it? We'll make it for you.

During early access, our team can make your ads in HeroTake for you. It comes from film: writers from films and web series, assistant directors from film sets, and film editors. Same studio, same steps: you send the brief, we direct every shot, and you get the finished ad.

Price and turnaround depend on the ad; we'll talk them through by email.

The ten steps, and who does them
Every HeroTake ad goes through ten steps. On a done-for-you ad, our team does nine. Animated illustration. Drawn, not generated: not an AI output.
Text version
  1. The ten steps · Ad 01, in two columns: You, and Our team.
  2. 01 Brief, you: product, audience, claim, offer.
  3. 02 Script, our team: drafted from your brief, finalized by our team. One line reads “Polarized. Obviously.”
  4. 03 Scenes: the ad, broken into scenes. 04 Shots: a camera move and a prompt for every shot.
  5. 05 Frames: built with your product photos attached.
  6. 06 Takes: several takes of each shot. 07 Hero take: the best take of each shot.
  7. 08 Voiceover: a voice for each character. 09 Cut: the hero takes in order, with the voice lined up.
  8. 10 Download: a 9:16 MP4, sent to you, ad-01.mp4.
  9. Then Upload, you: nothing goes live without you. You send the brief. We do the other nine steps.

What happens next

  1. 01We read every request ourselves.
  2. 02If HeroTake fits your account, we email you when your access is ready.
  3. 03We may ask for 30 minutes first, about how your last few video ads got made. Saying no doesn't affect your access.

Want to shape it?

We're also looking for a small group of design partners: brands that try HeroTake on real products and tell us what breaks. Say so when you reply to our first email.

So we can get to know your brand and products.

FAQ

Questions brands ask first.

Is AI good enough for real paid ads yet?

Judge it on your own product. You see every frame before you pay for video, and you choose every take. Test a HeroTake concept against your current best ad, not against nothing.

Will it get my product right?

Every frame is generated with your product photos attached, and you keep only the takes that get it right. More angles help complex products. The hardest cases are small printed text and hands holding the product, so redo those shots or frame around them.

Which AI video models does it use?

Leading video models, such as Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3, Kling v4 and Gemini Omni. HeroTake isn't tied to any one of them: try a shot on a different model and keep the take that looks best. The list changes as better models come out.

What does a finished ad cost?

Every generation shows its price before it runs, and you see the ad's running total as you work. We'll publish the cost of a typical ad, with its ledger, at launch.

Do I have to write prompts?

No. You write a brief, and HeroTake drafts the script, the shot list and a prompt for every shot. You can edit any of them.

Is it legal to use an AI spokesperson in ads?

Yes, with two rules. The spokesperson can deliver your brand's claims, but it can't pose as a customer or give a testimonial (FTC). And in New York, and in California from January 1, 2027, an ad with a synthetic performer needs a clear on-screen disclosure. Not legal advice; laws last checked October 2, 2026.

Will Meta label or reject my ads?

Meta labels AI content and decides every approval, so no tool can promise approval. HeroTake exports to a Meta preset and flags every file as AI-generated in its metadata. Whether the ad shows an on-screen AI disclosure is your call: write it into your prompts, or add it in your editor.

Meta's AI tools are free. Why pay for this?

Meta's tools mostly remix the assets you already gave them: new backgrounds, text, music, animated images. HeroTake builds a new, scripted, multi-shot ad from what you approve. Many brands use both. Lock your Advantage+ creative opt-outs on the ads you want to run as approved.

Can I use my own face, or my founder's?

Not yet. Using a real person's likeness needs verified consent, and we're building that. Today, spokespeople are made from AI-generated imagery, or imagery you hold rights to that shows no real person.

Does it do lip-sync, captions or music?

Lip-sync works where the chosen video model supports it, and voiceover-led formats (demo, problem–solution, product b-roll with narration) don't depend on it. Captions and music are coming; for now, add captions in your editor before you upload.

Is this meant to replace my creators?

No. Use HeroTake where creators are slow or expensive: testing new concepts. Keep creators for proof, meaning testimonials and real reviews, which an AI spokesperson must never fake.

What happens after I request access?

We read every request. If HeroTake fits your account, we email you when your access is ready. We may ask for a 30-minute call first; saying no doesn't affect your access.

Stop feeding the machine. Start directing it.

Keep doing it the old way, and winners keep dying while creative costs climb toward your media budget. Or direct your next concept yourself: your product, your spokesperson, your takes, at a price you see first.

From feeding the machine to directing it. Your photos are already doing the hard part. Put them to work in video. Save your creator budget for the angles that already won. Keep the structure. Drop the retainer.
